Leonard Morreale represents a major custody and clearing bank. He has extensive experience in domestic and global custody and clearing agreements. Mr. Morreale also represents banks in securities custody matters and derivative products such as repurchase agreements, reverse repurchase agreements, and interest rate swaps.
Prior to joining Emmet, Mr. Morreale was Managing Counsel in the Securities Processing Practice Group of the Legal Division of The Bank of New York (now The Bank of New York Mellon), providing legal support to the Bank’s custody, clearing and securities lending divisions. During his tenure at the Bank, he worked in several practice groups within the Legal Division handling issues related to intellectual property, bank regulatory compliance and the Bank’s abandoned property obligations.
